Am I a candidate for a GLP-1?

Five quick questions. See whether a GLP-1 is likely to fit you, what could be prescribed in your state, and exactly what it costs for the next 12 months.

Your answers stay in this browser. Nothing is sent, saved, or tracked.

1Your height and weight
2Where you live
3Have you been diagnosed with any of these?

The FDA-approved labels use these to decide who qualifies between a BMI of 27 and 30.

4Do any of these apply to you?

These are the same checks your provider’s assessment makes. Any one of them means a GLP-1 can’t be prescribed online.

5Which of these apply to you?

Compounded GLP-1s are prescribed where a brand-name product doesn’t suit you. Leave these blank if none fit.

This is an estimate, not a diagnosis or a prescription. A licensed provider reviews your full assessment and decides what, if anything, is right for you. Brand-name GLP-1 labels cover adults with a BMI of 30 or more, or 27 or more with a weight-related condition. Compounded medications are prepared by state-licensed pharmacies and are not FDA-approved.

Important safety information

GLP-1 medications may cause thyroid C-cell tumors, including medullary thyroid carcinoma, based on studies in rodents; it is unknown whether this happens in people. Do not use if you or a family member has had medullary thyroid carcinoma or if you have MEN 2. Other serious risks include pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, low blood sugar when used with other diabetes medicines, kidney problems from dehydration, serious allergic reactions, increased heart rate, and changes in vision for people with diabetic retinopathy. Watch for changes in mood or thoughts of self-harm and tell your provider right away.

This is not a complete list of risks. Talk with your provider and read the full prescribing information or medication guide. Full safety information.
