How Fem Max works
Fem Max combines three ingredients that address different aspects of female sexual health.
Tadalafil increases blood flow to the genitals, improving arousal and sensation.
PT-141 (Bremelanotide) works on your brain's desire centers to increase libido.
Oxytocin, the 'bonding hormone,' enhances emotional connection and intensifies orgasm.
Together, they address the physical, neurological, and emotional components of sexual satisfaction.
What is in Fem Max
Three actives in one compounded lozenge. Each is described below on its own terms; the combination itself has not been evaluated by FDA.
Tadalafil
An FDA-approved PDE5 inhibitor that acts on blood flow. In this combination it is compounded rather than dispensed as the approved product.
Bremelanotide
Acts on receptors in the central nervous system. FDA-approved as Vyleesi® for HSDD in premenopausal women; other use is off-label.
Oxytocin
Included for arousal support. Compounded oxytocin in a combination preparation is not an FDA-approved drug product.
The combination is not approved
No FDA-approved product combines these. FDA has not reviewed this preparation for safety, effectiveness or quality.

Fem Max contains tadalafil 2.5 mg, oxytocin 100 IU and bremelanotide (PT-141) 1 mg in a rapid-dissolve tablet. It does not contain sildenafil. Tadalafil is the active ingredient in an FDA-approved medication; this combination is compounded and is not FDA-approved.
What SurnaHealth dispenses is a compounded preparation, prepared for an individual patient by a state board-licensed 503A pharmacy under a prescription written for that patient and personalised to them by the prescriber.
A compounded preparation is not an FDA-approved drug product, is not a generic equivalent of any approved drug, and FDA does not review it for safety, effectiveness or quality.
Bremelanotide is FDA-approved as Vyleesi for acquired, generalised hypoactive sexual desire disorder in premenopausal women; any other use is off-label, and compounded bremelanotide is not an FDA-approved drug product.
Tadalafil: do not take it with nitrates in any form (such as nitroglycerin) or riociguat, which can cause a sudden, dangerous drop in blood pressure. Tell your provider if you take alpha-blockers or other blood pressure medicines, or if you have low blood pressure. Get emergency care for an erection lasting more than 4 hours (priapism) or for sudden loss of vision or hearing.
Bremelanotide (PT-141) commonly causes nausea, flushing and headache, and can raise blood pressure for a few hours after a dose. Do not use it if you have uncontrolled high blood pressure or cardiovascular disease.
Oxytocin side effects at this dose are generally mild, such as headache or nausea.
This combination can cause a life-threatening drop in blood pressure.
Tell your provider about every medication you take.
Use caution with alpha-blockers and with certain cardiovascular conditions.
Your provider reviews your cardiac history before prescribing.
Seek immediate medical attention for an erection lasting more than four hours, or for sudden vision or hearing loss.
Bremelanotide commonly causes nausea, and can raise blood pressure and lower heart rate transiently after a dose.
Compounded medication, prepared by a state-licensed pharmacy for individual patients. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality. Prescribed only if your provider determines it is clinically appropriate for you.
