Questions, answered
Why do I need a video visit?
Hormone therapy requires a live visit so your provider can review your labs and history with you directly before prescribing.
How do the at-home labs work?
We ship a lab kit to your door. Collect your sample, send it back in the prepaid package, and your provider reviews the results before your visit. The lab panel is paid to the lab separately: $88.25 for TRT, $89.50 for HRT.
Will TRT affect my fertility?
It can. Testosterone therapy can lower sperm production. If you're planning to have children, ask your provider about enclomiphene.
Is hormone therapy right for women?
For many women in menopause, the benefits can outweigh the risks, and your provider will review both with you. It isn't right for everyone, especially with a history of certain cancers, blood clots, or stroke. Your provider reviews your history before prescribing.
How often will I need labs?
Usually before you start, again after a few months, then periodically. Your provider sets the schedule based on your treatment.
Are these medications FDA-approved?
Some options, like enclomiphene, are compounded by a state-licensed pharmacy. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and have not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel any time before your next billing date and you will not be charged again. Anything you have already paid for still ships.
